Mississippi River Commission

Working in concert with the Amry Corps of Engineers' Mississippi Valley Division, the Mississippi River Commission researches and provides policy and work recommendations in the areas of flood control, navigation, and environmental projects. The president of the commission is also the commanding officer of the Corps of Engineers Mississippi Valley Division.
