El
Departamento de Energía (DOE, por su sigla en inglés) administra programas relacionados a recursos de energía,
seguridad nuclear nacional, medio ambiente y ciencias. La misión del
Departamento es manejar de la manera más eficiente la producción de energía
nacional, mantener el sistema de energía sostenible y garantizar la seguridad de
las armas nucleares para proteger la seguridad nacional.

to energy resources, national nuclear security, the environment and science. Its
mission is to manage the most efficient production of national energy, to
maintain the sustainable energy system and to guarantee the safety of nuclear
