Directions to Catholic University's Pryzbyla Center

NOTE: Visitor parking on the campus of Catholic University of America is by permit only. We strongly encourage you to take Metro to the campus. For more information contact us.

The workshop will be held on the third floor of the Pryzbyla Center. Please refer to the campus map for directions to the Pryzbla Center.

Metrorail
Take the Red Line, in the direction of Glenmont, to the Brookland-CUA station.  Exit to the left when leaving the station. Cross John McCormack Road and continue to walk straight until you reach the Crough Center. Make a right at the Crough Center and follow path to the Pryzbyla Center.

Driving From the South
Follow I-95 North to Route 395 North. After crossing the Potomac River, take the “12th Street L'Enfant Promenade” exit. Stay left (following the signs for 12th Street). After exiting the tunnel, turn right on Constitution Avenue. Turn left on 6th Street, NW. Turn right on E Street, NW. Turn left on North Capitol Street. Drive approximately 2 miles and turn right on Michigan Avenue, NE. You will soon see the dome of the Shrine on your left marking a university entrance at 4th Street, NE.

Driving From the Northwest
Take 270 South to 495 East. Take Exit 28, New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650 South) toward Takoma Park. Drive 4.5 miles and turn left on North Capitol Street. Follow signs for Pope John Paul II Cultural Center by turning left (at light) on Clermont, NE. At next light, turn left onto Harewood Road, NE. Bear right at next light, following Harewood Road. Campus will be on your left; enter at sign for “Ward Hall, Caldwell Hall, McMahon Hall.”

Driving From the North
Follow I-95 South to Exit 22, the Baltimore/Washington Parkway. Continue traveling south on the Parkway and exit at Route 50 West (becomes New York Avenue). Take the South Dakota Avenue exit. After approximately 1.3 miles, turn left onto Monroe Street. At Michigan Avenue, Monroe Street ends. Bear left and you will see the dome of the Shrine on your right marking a university entrance at 4th Street, NE.

From Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) Airport

  • Metrorail: Take a yellow line train (direction of Mount Vernon Square)to Gallery Place. At Gallery Place transfer to a red line train (direction of Glenmont). Disembark at the Brookland-CUA station and exit to the left when leaving the station.

  • Taxi: Cab fare from the airport to CUA is approximately $20.  CUA's street address is 620 Michigan Avenue, NE.

From Baltimore Washington (BWI) and Dulles (IAD) International Airports
SuperShuttle provides van service from local airports directly to campus.  From BWI, fare for one person is $30; additional persons are $10.  From Dulles, fare for one person is $22; additional persons are $10.  Contact 1.800.BLUEVAN (1.800.258.3826).  Advance reservations are not necessary unless a wheelchair accessible van is required.
