Tips for Spanish–language websites: How to Write Alt Attributes for Pictures
When using text to describe pictures on a website <alt attribute>, make sure that the descriptive text is in Spanish. This is not only a best practice, but also 508 compliant. A person on a Spanish-language website using a reader would need all alt attributes to be in Spanish to understand what the pictures depict; see examples below.
