Webinar Description

With over 18 million monthly viewers worldwide, SlideShare is the world's largest community site for sharing presentations. It also has integrations with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter making it easy for people to share SlideShare presentations and documents on these (and other) social networks.

However, SlideShare is not limited to presentations, and allows uploads of documents and pdf's as well. Whitehouse.gov recently used SlideShare to share presentations about technology policy, Green policies, and documents showing the President's Cairo speech in 15 different languages. The Whitehouse channel at slideshare.net/whitehouse borrows the look and feel of the Whitehouse website, a functionality which SlideShare makes available to other Govt agencies as well.

Rashmi Sinha, CEO of Slideshare, will describe how to share presentations & documents and make them easy to search and share using SlideShare. She will discuss Whitehouse's use of SlideShare as a case study and describe how other government agencies could similarly use SlideShare.
