Housing discrimination happens when a housing provider or lending institution gets in the way of a person renting a place to live because of their:
- Race or color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex (gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation)
- Family status (such as having children)
- Disability

File a housing discrimination complaint
